Cubit – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Cubit is a personal time tracking app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. This policy describes what happens to the data you enter.
Summary
Cubit does not collect any data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code. The developer operates no servers and has no access to your data.
Data you enter
Your activities (names, colours, symbols, tags) and your switches between them are stored:
- on your device, and
- in your private iCloud database, if you are signed in to iCloud. Apple's CloudKit syncs it between your devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Only you can access your private database; the developer cannot read it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Without iCloud, your data stays on the device.
Settings
Per-device settings, such as the time zones used for display and export, are stored only on that device.
Purchases
Exporting reports needs the yearly Export subscription. Purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account, under Apple's terms and Apple's Privacy Policy. To unlock export, Cubit only asks StoreKit on your device whether the subscription is currently active. The developer receives no personal or payment data from this, and Cubit stores nothing about your purchase – not on the device, not in iCloud.
Exports
Reports you export or copy are created on your device and go only where you choose to share them.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete All Data removes every activity and switch from the device and, if you use iCloud, from iCloud and all your other devices. You can also delete Cubit's iCloud data in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud.
Children
Cubit does not collect data from anyone, including children.
