Cubit Support
Found a problem or have an idea? Write to support@apps.falsum.de. The quickest way is About Cubit → Send Feedback in the app: it opens a pre-filled email with technical details such as the app version and device model – never your activities or times. You can delete them before sending.
Frequently asked questions
iCloud sync isn't working
Cubit syncs your activities and switches through your private iCloud database. Check that:
- every device is signed in to the same Apple Account,
- iCloud is turned on for Cubit in the Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud,
- your iCloud storage isn't full, and
- the device has a network connection.
Changes made offline are kept on the device and sync once it is back online. On a new device, the first sync can take a few minutes.
How do I export my data?
Open Reports, pick a week or a month and tap Export. Choose an Excel workbook or a CSV file, or copy the table and paste it into Numbers or Excel. You can choose which activities or tags to include; grouping by activity or by tag applies to both the report and the export. Reports are free; exporting needs the yearly Export subscription, which starts with a free trial.
How do I manage, restore or cancel the Export subscription?
Settings → Export Subscription shows whether the subscription is active and when it renews. If a subscription you bought doesn't show up on a device, tap Restore Purchases. Apple handles billing: to cancel, tap Manage Subscription there or open your Apple Account's subscriptions in the Settings app. Exporting stays available until the end of the current period.
How do I delete all my data?
Settings → Delete All Data removes every activity and switch from the device and, if you use iCloud, from iCloud and all your other devices. This can't be undone. You can also delete Cubit's iCloud data in the Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud.
Does the Apple Watch app need my iPhone?
No. The watch app syncs through iCloud on its own, so it shows what is running and switches activities even when your iPhone isn't nearby. Create activities and correct the timeline on your iPhone or iPad.
Where is my data stored?
On your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your private iCloud database. Only you can access it; the developer operates no servers and can't read your data. Switches are stored as precise moments in UTC; the time zone setting only changes how they are shown and exported.
